Pengelolaan Kecemasan Pada Pasien Pasca Operasi Dengan Kelumpuhan Tangan Kiri Melalui Psikoedukasi Dan Teknik Relaksasi

Abstract

Kondisi kesehatan fisik pasca operasi sering kali diikuti oleh respons psikologis, salah satunya kecemasan yang berkaitan dengan ketidakpastian proses pemulihan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi psikologis yang tidak hanya mengeksplorasi, tetapi juga mengevaluasi perubahan kondisi psikologis klien setelah intervensi diberikan. Layanan praktik ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perubahan kecemasan serta indikasi efektivitas psikoedukasi dan teknik deep breathing exercise pada klien yang mengalami kelumpuhan tangan kiri. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kasus tunggal pada seorang klien laki-laki berusia 25 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta asesmen psikologis menggunakan DASS-21, Draw-A-Person (DAP), dan House-Tree-Person (HTP) yang dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil asesmen awal menunjukkan bahwa klien mengalami kecemasan yang ditandai dengan kekhawatiran terhadap kondisi fisik, perasaan tidak aman, serta kecenderungan menarik diri. Meskipun hasil DASS-21 berada pada kategori normal, temuan dari tes grafis menunjukkan adanya ketidaknyamanan emosional dan keraguan diri. Setelah intervensi, temuan menunjukkan adanya perubahan kondisi psikologis, yang ditandai dengan berkurangnya kekhawatiran, meningkatnya kemampuan regulasi emosi, serta keterbukaan dalam mengekspresikan perasaan. Klien juga menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap kondisi yang dialami serta mampu menerapkan teknik relaksasi untuk mengelola ketegangan fisik. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya indikasi bahwa psikoedukasi dan teknik deep breathing exercise dapat membantu penyesuaian emosional serta menurunkan respons kecemasan pada klien dengan keterbatasan fisik pasca operasi. Namun, diperlukan pemantauan lanjutan dengan penggunaan metode pengukuran yang konsisten untuk memperkuat temuan terkait efektivitas intervensi.
